Edward Bootland

Edward joined Linder Myers as a Partner in the Commercial Litigation department following the merger of his firm, Willan Bootland, in December 2004.

Edward is a well known commercial lawyer specialising in:

• sale of goods
• asset leasing
• finance disputes
• factoring litigation

Edward was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1993 and regularly sits in the Greater Manchester area. On 1st October 2005 Edward was appointed the Honorary Norwegian Consul in Manchester, which is concerned with the protection of the interests of Norwegian citizens in the Greater Manchester area.

Edward lives with his partner in Cheshire. His interests include singing, shooting and skiing and he holds the rank of Colonel in the Territorial Army having served in the Royal Engineers (TA) for a considerable time.
