Julia joined Linder Myers in 1997, becoming an Associate Partner in 1998 and a Partner in 2001.


Julia specialises in:

  • delayed diagnosis and treatment of cancer
  • paediatric neurology
  • GP negligence
  • cosmetic surgery
  • anaesthetic awareness

In one example of Julia's success for clients she obtained damages in excess of £3 million plus substantial annual payments for life.


Julia has been accredited as a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel since May 2000 and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. She also sits on the Legal Services Commission Clinical Negligence Funding Committee.

Julia has been recommended as a claimant clinical negligence lawyer in the Chambers and Partners Legal Directory for a number of years and in the 2009 edition it was noted that “Market sources also single out partner Julia Bridges for “her super-intelligent, experienced counsel - she knows exactly what she’s talking about.”"


Julia is married with two sons and lives in Cheshire. She enjoys hobbies including cycling, playing golf and scuba diving.
